PLZ AWARDS its a monthly Film Festival with and annual Live Show in Paris , Prague and Ibiza
Every month we will select 7 Winners  one in each category and they will compete for the annual PLZ AWARDS  LIVE SHOW in Paris Prague and Ibiza .

★ History

Parachute Light Zéro is a natural continuation of festivals held in Argentina between 2000 and 2007: especially, the events of Festival Internacional de Arte Digital which aimed to create an interaction space between novices, artists and professionals of digital art, design, video, photography, music. And also any other event oriented toward experimental practice (performances, installations, etc.) having a link with the audiovisual, such as multimedia production, Vj, Dj, or audiovisual creation of any kind. Each artist, involved, was seeking new forms of expression. The Festival Internacional de Arte Digital was the first festival of this kind in Argentina, and the first real space distribution of independent Argentinean artists’ works working with digitization of sound and image through various media.

★ Impact and target

Promote art, discovering new artists (film schools, visual art, photography, theater, fashion, multimedia, or other non-conventional and experimental art movement) while inviting the public to live an unexpected experience: artistic, intellectual, hedonistic and plurisensensuelle.

★ Jury

Every month, our jury will award the best independent filmmakers through private screenings.
Every submission can submit to as many categories as fits the film to increase the chances of winning.
The Jury may offer honorable mentions for filmmakers who do not necessarily win.

All monthly Award Winners receive PLZ laurel and customized certificate .

★ Trophy  and Certificate

Winners may order the official PLZ Awards statuette for themselves and their team.

★ Rules & Terms

Feature more than 60 minutes.
Short film / Series/ Pilot TV: maximum 60 minutes.
We only accept online digital submissions via Filmfreeway.
Each entry and submission category must have its own submission fee.
You are allowed to have multiple entries and submit to multiple categories
Each category requires its own fee.
We accept all languages. If the film is not in English we need we will need English subtitles
No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.We do not provide free submissions.
You own all the rights to the film.
Organizers reserve rights change, cancel or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent.
You cannot withdraw your submission after the official selection announcement.
The festival does not pay sreening fees.
At the live festival we screen the winner of Best Short Film and Best Feature Film Bests Performance Best Photography and Bests Stylist.
The festival organizers may refuse any illegal, non-artistic, fake, false, incomplete entries.


We do not accept

Amateur videos . Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations . Films involving politics / films promoting political agenda .

Jean-placide Mauclaire inaugure la première salle de cinéma d’avant-garde rive droite, située en plein cœur de Montmartre. 

Le studio 28 devient vite une véritable salle de cinéma indépendante se consacrant uniquement à la recherche et à la découverte d’œuvres d’art cinématographiques. Un lieu de rencontre où se côtoient de nombreux artistes, poètes, peintres, cinéastes : Jean Cocteau, Luis Buñuel, Abel Gance puis Jean Marais.
