An NFT, or Non Fungible Token It is a title of ownership of a unique digital object. It helps to differentiate between originals and copies by creating exclusivity through blockchain information storage and transmission technology.

NFTs allow more and more creators to make a living from their art. The main reason is that the number of collectors has multiplied.

Transparency Users of NFT platforms can see all exchanges in a transaction explorer, as is the case with any blockchain ("chain of blocks", computer protocol allowing cryptocurrency transactions).

Immutability Created NFTs cannot be copied, thus making them unique tokens tied to unique items.

Decentralization No entity or natural person centralizes the exchanges, the control of the exchanges is done by algorithms of all the participating machines, without central authority.

Security Created (mostly) by the Ethereum blockchain, non-interchangeable tokens are stored in secure databases scattered around the world. Checks are performed by all computers that participate in the blockchain.
